What I hope this portfolio shows is that, with years of experience, I can photograph whatever widget your manufacturing or selling and supply high resolution images for posters, magazines, newspapers, brochures, and pamphlets. The images can also be reduced to website resolution and size, and compressed to download fast.
I use Nikon cameras and lenses, Ellinchrom flash lighting, Manfrotto tripods and stands, PC computers, Adobe software and Epson printers and materials, to produce work efficently, for a multitude of purposes, and to very high quality standards.
High resolution clipping paths (deep etching to the old timers) have been drawn on most of the items to seperate them from existing backgrounds, and allow them to be dropped into white or other photographic backgrounds.
Although I started my photographic carreer shooting everything that came through the door, profit, and my personality, have guided my choice of work to studio packshots, that today comprise 95% of my workload. About three quarters of the time spent on each pack is spent sitting at the computer, cleaning up and retouching badly printed items or items that have been crunched or buckled before arrival at the studio, and I now consider myself an expert image retoucher.
All images are shot in the highest resolution possible on the equipment, and archived in the widest colour gamut available. (Currently Adobe ProphotoRgb 16 bit Tifs from Adobe DNG originals) and then reduced and converted to the appropriate digital format for the immediate use.
